Help for the Delegated Administrator

What is a Delegated Administrator?

There is one Delegated Administrator for each Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory account.

Last updated on 08 Dec, 2025

The Delegated Administrator ("DA") is the primary contact for your organization's subscriptions and is appointed by the Customer to control the creation of users within the organization.

There is one Delegated Administrator for each Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory account.   However, the DA can appoint "Site Contacts" to share the responsibility for creating end user IDs.  The DA is authorized to distribute IDs and self-registration URLs to end users at the organization.

IMPORTANT: The Delegated Administrator is not automatically registered as an end user and must register, separately, as a user to access subscription content.

See ID Manager For Delegated Administrators for more information on creating end users and Site Contacts.

As the organization's primary contact for subscription content, the Delegated Administrator will receive email updates when any of the following occurs:

  • A subscription(s) is cancelled, suspended, expires, or is reinstated

  • A user within the firm has registered

  • New online products are added to the existing subscription

  • A name change for your firm

  • Name of Delegated Administrator changes to another individual

  • Delegated Administrator email change

  • Delegated Administrator phone number change

  • User-initiated request to have password resent

  • IP Addresses change

  • New Trial IDs generated

  • Existing User IDs deactivated

If your organization has not assigned a Delegated Administrator or you wish to change the individual currently named, contact vitallawsupport@wolterskluwer.com
